I have no idea how these smell because they are not out yet, but I think I would consider buying one on cute factor alone! Actually I think they are for younger gilrs, but they are fun all the same with names like Lil’ Angel, Baby, G, and Love. Made in the USA, $25.

The focus of my latest obsession has been the website beautycrunch. It is an authorized seller of discontinued Stila, Too Faced, and DuWop cosmetics.
Cosmetic companies cannot have “sales” like clothing companies have because it could cheapen their reputation. So this is were it gets good - the items on this site (I love love love Stila) are more than 50% off their original price, plus, unless you’re a resident of California, you’re not paying sales tax. This can add up to a big savings for you. Here are some of my favorites - they are amazing.

stila winter palette in glacier ice - $12

stila - best of glamour - $30

too faced - candy lips - $8

stila - travel brush set and case - $30 (what a steal!!!)

Call me behind the times if you will…I have never used a brush cleanser until now. Gross? Probably. Anyway, who knew how great this stuff is, especially if you are like me and are trying to slowly build a collection of nice brushes. This stuff is great. $10.

I am just in love with the girly look of anything Nanette Lepore. It is so sweet and pretty, Id almost buy the bottle without anything in it! This popular scent was introduced in 1994 and has notes of jasmine, peach, lime and violet. Yum! ($42)
Just for fun I included a beautiful photo of a Nanette Lepore shop, I think this is the New York location.

For those of you who appreciate the finer things in life, you have probably already heard of the king of brushes, Mason Pearson. For over 120 years, these brushes have been handmade in England of the fines materials and craftmanship. I own a detangling comb as well as a handy size mixture bristle/nylon brush, which as Goldilocks would say is “just right”. A lifetime brush, you’ll never know why you ever used anything else. Considering how much we all spend on hair styling and products every month, this is a great investment.

If you’re looking for the perfect nail color, you’ve found it. From the brand Essie, the color is called Wicked. Its just the right mix of burgundy and brown that is dark but warm enough that it doesnt give you “dead hands”. I have struck out a few times in the past with the dark colors, but this one really works! $8

As an encore for my last “red” post, I wanted to give you pink fans something too. Out of stock due to its popularity, the Stila Lip Set in Pink is finally back at Sephora. An awesome deal, its just $25 for all of this goodness. Thats great, considering each of those glosses are about $20 each.

Hope all of you had a wonderful holiday!
Ive been noticing how dry it is in my house. I feel like a scratchy piece of sandpaper and now I have got to reach for my favorite product, especially for winter - Philosophy hot salt scrub. It is a great item we should all have handy. It comes in a variety of great scents and has a heating action I just love. It has an ultra moisturizing base that gets rid of dryness everytime.
After all the chocolate, caramel, cinnamon, and coffee I have consumed over the last four days, I think this zippy green margarita scent is just what I need.

I know what you’re thinking… “whaaat?” Don’t despair. This is just lip balm and I’m just looking out for you. We all must have a little protection from the wind and cold this fall, and this will actually do the trick. It has a bit of a cult following and I’m sure you too will soon be a fan.
